Growth Augment (“Growth Augment,” “we,” “us”) operates growthaugment.com, the research desk, its indexes, newsletters, and the Lead Leaks podcast. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
If you have questions or a request about your data, email privacy@growthaugment.com.
When you submit a site for review, apply to the show, subscribe to the newsletter, or contact the desk, we collect the information in that form — typically your name, work email, company or domain, and anything you write in a free-text field.
If you sign in to an internal tool, we collect your email address for authentication. We use passwordless magic-link sign-in, so we do not store passwords.
Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers log technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this for security, abuse prevention, and understanding aggregate traffic.
We use only strictly necessary cookies and local storage needed to run the site and keep a signed-in session active. We do not sell advertising and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on our own pages.
Our indexes and coverage are built from publicly available information about companies — websites, public profiles, published materials — plus our own measurements and interviews. Where that information includes a named individual in a professional capacity (for example, a founder or executive quoted or listed publicly), we process it for journalism and research purposes.
If you are named in our coverage and believe something is inaccurate, contact us and we will review and correct where warranted.
We use personal information to: respond to your submission or inquiry; evaluate fit for coverage, screening calls, or the show; send the newsletter and updates you asked for; operate, secure, and improve the Services; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We share limited personal information with vendors that run parts of our operation on our behalf — hosting and application infrastructure, our database and authentication provider, email delivery, and podcast/video distribution platforms. They may process data only to provide services to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Growth Augment or others.
We keep form submissions and subscriber records for as long as needed for the purpose they were collected and for our legitimate business records, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your record sooner at any time.
Submissions are stored in an access-controlled database. Internal dashboards are restricted to authenticated, allowlisted Growth Augment accounts, enforced with row-level security at the database layer. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information with reasonable technical and organizational measures.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Residents of California, the EU/UK, and other regions with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under their local law.
To exercise a right, email privacy@growthaugment.com from the address in question. We will respond within the time your law requires, and we will not discriminate against you for making a request.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
We operate from the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Services you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws than your own.
The Services are intended for business professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
